The opening workshop of the Student Chapter of SIAM Magdeburg is officially announced in SIAM News.

The recent issue of SIAM News (January 2014) reports about the opening workshop of the Student Chapter of SIAM Magdeburg. The workshop took place at the MPI Magdeburg on June 19th 2013. Edda Klipp from the Humboldt University Berlin was invited as the main speaker.
