SIAM Student Chapter Workshop on "Applied Mathematics in Industry"

The Student Chapter of SIAM Magdeburg is organizing a summer workshop on 9th of June. It focuses on the applications of mathematics in industry and economy. In particular we thematize real world applications. The workshop will start at 1 p.m. at the Max Planck Institute.

Cozy get-together of Chapter members. The regulars' table is a chance to get to know each other better and to participate in fruitful discussions about future activities of the Chapter (workshops, excursions, ...).

We're going bowling from 8-10 pm. We will meet at "BOWL and DINER" (Lemsdorfer Weg 27, http://www.bowlingtreff.com/). The price will be about 4 Euro per person.

The Market of Opportunities takes place on the space in front of the Mensa from 10:30 am.
